A lot of products on this page claim to work against parasites. They claim to prevent or treat various diseases. There are even some that say they treat or prevent malaria. But is it really true? Is there a cure for malaria?
Many parasites are found in humans. Most have been eradicated from the earth in the last 200 years. If all of the parasites found in humans are eradicated then humans could live comfortably with the parasites we have. In reality most parasites are not even as good as we think they are. It is estimated that about 90% of all parasites are no more than 10-20% effective against the human host. There are only a few parasites that are effective, and these are the parasitic mites. We are not sure what is responsible for why these parasites cause human disease.
We know that some parasite are the primary cause of human diseases, but there are other species as well. We will start from the least beneficial of all species, the protozoan parasites, and then work on the best parasites. Most protozoan parasites are only found in very small numbers in the environment. If you know you are carrying a parasitic mite, the last thing you want to do is to infect other people. Many people are infected with parasites from their environment.
